After the premiere
On 1st September, Kraków resounded with the Prelude for Peace, Krzysztof Penderecki’s latest work.

Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg
On 6th September 2009, Professor Krzysztof Penderecki will be awarded the Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg during the concert of Lucilin ensemble in Kraków’s Church of St Barbara. An expression of recognition for the artist for his invaluable contribution to the composition of contemporary European music. The Order will be presented by His Majesty Grand Duke of Luxembourg.
