The 13th Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival begins in Warsaw on 29th March. In the first night’s concert, Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra will be conducted by Krzysztof Penderecki, and the violin was entrusted into the hands of Anne-Sophie Muter. The programme, quite naturally, is Ludwig van Beethoven, and begins with Die Geschöpfe des Prometheus Overture, Op. 43, follows into the Violin concerto in D major, Op. 61, and closes with Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92.
