The film "Seven Gates of Jerusalem" to Krzysztof Penderecki's music has been nominated for the prestigious Rose d'Or 2009 Award in the Performing Arts category. Over 170 productions from all over the world were submitted to the competition, from which an international jury selected the most interesting six. This is the only Polish production to have been shortlisted. The winner will be determined in early May in Lucerne, Switzerland, during the official ending of the festival.
