Krzysztof Penderecki at the Tansman Festival 2010
The final concert of the 8th International Tansman Festival 2010 will take place on 20 November in Łódź, presenting choral works by Henryk Mikołaj Górecki (including “Amen” and “Marian Songs”) and Krzysztof Penderecki’s Symphony No. 8 “Songs of Transience”.

Polish-German “Seven Gates of Jerusalem” by Krzysztof Penderecki
Students and professors of the Academy of Music in Kraków and the Hochschule für Music in Würzburg have joined forces in a project to prepare and perform Krzysztof Penderecki’s “Seven Gates of Jerusalem”. They have worked together since 8 November. Two concerts by the combined orchestra and choir of both schools as well as Polish and German soloists will take place on 13 November in Würzburg and on 15 November in Rzeszów. Both concerts will be conducted by the composer, Maestro Krzysztof Penderecki.
