The national Polish broadcaster, Telewizja Polska, participates in the celebration of the 75th birthday of the great composer Krzysztof Penderecki, presenting live on TVP HD the extraordinary performance of Seven Gates of Jerusalem at 7:30 p.m. on 23rd November 2008. Directed by Jarosław Minkowicz with computer animations by Tomasz Bagiński, this exceptional concert at the Wielki Theatre – National Opera will be conducted by maestro Krzysztof Penderecki himself. The musical and ballet film based on the jubilee concert will premiere on channel TVP2 in February 2009.
