Visit to Tallinn
Professor Krzysztof Penderecki received honorary doctorates from tens of universities in Poland and abroad, including Rochester, Bordeaux, Leuven, Washington, Belgrade, Madrid, Poznań, Warsaw, Buenos Aires, Glasgow, Minster, Seul, and Kraków. In May 2009, Maestro Penderecki received the honorary doctorate from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Tallinn, yet due to his very busy artistic calendar, he will not have been able to collect it until 28th March.

The Year of Chopin
All over the world, the celebration of the Year of Chopin begins. Krzysztof Penderecki has been invited to the honorary boards of the Committee for Celebration of Chopin Year 2010 by the Polish Embassies in Lisbon, Tokyo, and Rome.
