Krzysztof Penderecki will conclude the year with two concerts in Italy. On 19th and 20th December, the works of the Maestro – Sinfonietta for flute and string orchestra, and Sinfonietta for strings, and Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, Op. 88. will be produced by Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic under Maestro Penderecki, with the eminent Italian flutist, Massimo Mercelli, as soloist. The plans for the new year include concerts in Lisbon (Portugal) and Nashville (USA), and Professor Penderecki’s residency at the Musical University of Toronto as a part of the New Music Festival in late January.
