European Center for Music awarded again
The European Krzysztof Penderecki Center for Music has received the Stanisław Witkiewicz Prize for the best new public utility building in Małopolska. The Małopolska Garden of Arts has also been awarded.
The Stanisław Witkiewicz Prize is awarded to the best architectural buildings constructed over the last two years in the Małopolskie Voivodeship. It is awarded to buildings which, “by making references to existing architecture and landscape, create harmonious public spaces and can be a source of inspiration for buildings being built around them and for spatial development ".

Istanbul Music Festival
Festival's Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, indisputably one of the greatest musicians alive whose works have become milestones in the music of the 20th century, Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki conducts Sinfonia Varsovia in this grandioso evening, which will also feature his own works (17 June).
