30 Years of Sinfonia Varsovia – Jubilee Concert
To mark its 30th anniversary, the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra will give a celebratory concert at the Wielki Theatre – Polish National Opera on Sunday, 11 May. The orchestra will be led by the excellent violinist and conductor Andres Mustonen.
The two-part programme of the concert was designed to reflect the changes that have taken place in the orchestra since its inception.

Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana, 1st Class
On 18 March 2014, the President of the Republic of Estonia, Mr Toomas Hendrik Ilves, during his state visit to Poland and meeting with the President of the Republic of Poland, Mr Bronisław Komorowski, bestowed the Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana, 1st Class, to Krzysztof Penderecki. The distinction is given to foreigners who have rendered special services to the Republic of Estonia.
