Upcoming premiere
13 February will see the release of a CD with music by Krzysztof Penderecki and Jonny Greenwood. The material was recorded at Alvernia Studios, and the album featuring the Polish composer and the lead guitarist of the British rock band Radiohead is issued on the American Nonesuch label. Krzysztof Penderecki tells about his cooperation with Greenwood (Dziennik.pl):

Penderecki in Moscow
On 26 February at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, two outstanding conductors: Vladimir Fedoseyev and Krzysztof Penderecki will conduct the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Radio. Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 in E minor “From the New World” will be conducted by Maestro Penderecki, and the works by Krzysztof Penderecki – the Concerto Grosso for 3 cellos and Chaconne from the Polish Requiem – will be conducted by Maestro Fedoseev. The Concerto Grosso will be performed by Russian soloists Petr Kondrashin, Natalia Raspopova and Denis Kalinsky.
