Daniel Müller-Schott and Concerto grosso
Today at Avery Fisher Hall in New York, Daniel Müller-Schott begins his concert tour with Krzysztof Penderecki’s music. The programme of the concerts includes the Concerto grosso, which Müller-Schott has played several times, including in its American premiere with The Philadelphia Orchestra in 2008. He has strong ties with Penderecki, dating back to his student days, when Anne-Sophie Mutter brought him to the composer’s home in Krakow. The next concert will take place in Boston on 31 October. And another during the Krzysztof Penderecki Festival in November.
