Krzysztof Penderecki in Turin

Krzysztof Penderecki will start this year’s concert season in Turin, where on Monday, 16 January, he will conduct the orchestra Filarmonica'900 del Teatro Regio di Torino. The programme will include works by the composer and Antonín Dvořák.
The first part of the concert will include Krzysztof Penderecki’s two Sinfoniettas per archi, including one for solo flute and chamber orchestra with Massimo Mercelli as a soloist. In the second half, the Teatro Regio audience in Turin will hear Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8 in G major.
