The 14th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition ended on 29 May in Tel Aviv. On this occasion, the Ludwig van Beethoven Association donated a prize of $5000 for the Best Performer of Classical Concerto. The prize went to Leonardo Colafelice from Italy.

The second prize, of $3,000, was awarded by The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy Association – the International Center of Music to the Best Performer of a Piece by Chopin. The prize also went to Leonardo Colafelice from Italy.

European Center for Music awarded

 
The European Krzysztof Penderecki Center for Music in Lusławice was presented with the Award of the Association of Polish Architects for the best building built in 2012.
The Award of the Association of Polish Architects, established in 1983, has been conferred for over 30 years to buildings of significant architectural value constructed in Poland.
Poland’s President Bronisław Komorowski is the honorary patron of the competition. The awards were presented on Monday in Warsaw.
